'96 up Auto trans gear control: Montana Fab

Yeah, when I talked to them last year, they said the plastic connector plugs were stopped being manufactured which allowed the plug and play method. It moved to needing to be spliced in.

    Jw2 vs trucklites

Living in SoCal, not really snow/ice to deal with... heck hardly any rain either... :( I would think if you live in an area you get regular snow/ice, the heated ones would be the way to go. If very light snow, maybe not but if you are getting inches, I would say yes. As for the high beams...

    Jw2 vs trucklites

I am running a set of JW Speaker Evo 2 after buying a set of the cheap ones many buy. The cheap ones totally sucked, no pattern and was almost worse then the stock lights. Had them 1 night and sent them back. Before I bought these I had done a ton of research on lights and the JWSe2 were by...

    8.25 axle question

If the ratios are the same as your old one, then you can just swap the whole axle over. I always recommend new U-bolt anytime you are removing old, original ones but that's your call.

Urgent Help Needed! AX15 2WD slip yoke problem?

Well, I ended up pulling the trans and taking it down to the place I got the yoke from. As I found out, they tested the yoke I got on an output shaft from a 2WD AX15 and the splines fit, so they figured it was good. When we then tried in a 2WD tail housing, they saw it would not fit. Duh! So...

Urgent Help Needed! AX15 2WD slip yoke problem?

Yep, splines count is the same. I picked up a second slip yoke yesterday from Jeep 911 down in Otay. This one was from a 2WD AX15. It slides on the splines about 1.5" fine (output shaft sticks out about .5") but then it hits what I figure is the output shaft bushing (part behind the seal) and...

Urgent Help Needed! AX15 2WD slip yoke problem?

Hi guys, So I am swapping in an AX15 from a 2WD Cherokee into another project. I am at the point I need to get the slip yoke set and measure for my driveshaft BUT I have a major problem. When I try to slip the yoke into the trans output, it goes in about an 1" and then you can feel it hit...
