I’m home! And it only took 9 hours. Caliper locked up in traffic twice. Pulled over let it cool and it rode fine again. Thanks to every that made this happen. Had a BLAST!!
Does anyone have a spare (drivers if it matters) bolt for the rear seatback/backrest they could bring with them?
I took out my seats to pull the carpet and lost the bolt.
I come from just north of Boston every year. Came out the first year with about a 2" lift and highway tread 29" tires and, even though I THRASHED the thing, I made it all the way back home. Had a blast and now this year will be my 5th in a row. If you can come, Do it. You WON'T regret it.

@Anak My apologies, I've used new and used OEM parts, and new and remanned aftermarket parts with same outcome.

I'm on my second XJ and both of them have gone through about 1 power steering pump per year
My first XJ was a 2000 AW4 8.25 i6
second one is identical aside from color.
(coincidentally enough, they also had the same 176xxx miles when I bought them)
Either way they keep blowing up...
That's Unbelievable. I never touched suspension before I did my lift kit and it came out fine. I don't understand how a professional would screw up THAT bad
