yeah thats one thing i hate about the flux core wire, the bead comes out funky looking but i always use the gas only time i use use no gas is if im out of gas. lol

yeah i know its not the same swap thats why im saying stick to a h.o head so theres no confusion.

does anyone know a way to check if your tcu is actually functioning correctly? im still in the process of checking my wiring harness to the tcu, but i figured if nothing is wrong with the harness and everything comes out normal i would have to pretty much say its the tcu right?

my freind has a 90 yj and he put on an alabama h.o cylinder head out of a 93 i believe. He said the only thing different is they had to weld over some of the water jackets to match up to the 1990 block. i would stick with the h.o head

i had this same problem in my 1990 but it turned out it was a cracked vacum hose that comes off the fitting to the axle.

while i had my head off i ran down to home depot and went in the cleaning section. They have these very long wire type flexible brush that i use to clean out my manifold and it came out like brand new. i let the manifold soak in some citrus degreaser over night and that loosend up the carbon.

i dont have a sway bar in the rear of my 90. i have the hyrdo shocks that came with my rustys lift and that really gives you a rush when your flying around a corner. id strongly suggest you keep the front on. lol

i tried the neutral start switch, it only starts in neutral and park. Other than those two it wont start.

i have gotten pulled over with no cat. i dont have emissions and the cop didnt mention anything about being a federal law. Does your lawn mower have a cat on it?

i use a miller mig welder. Its one of those where you can use gas or no gas. i like migs do to the fact i can fill in some pretty good size cracks with it. the tranny level is in the normal range when at operating temperature, its new fluid, but even when i changed the fluid when i did the tranny filter it didnt smell burnt or didnt have any odd color.

i checked by tv cable even though that would be a mechanical problem. Seems to be fine. tommorow im going to check my harness and check the neutral start switch.

never tried the neutral start switch. ill try to find out on how to check that.
