yeah thats one thing i hate about the flux core wire, the bead comes out funky looking but i always use the gas only time i use use no gas is if im out of gas. lol
does anyone know a way to check if your tcu is actually functioning correctly? im still in the process of checking my wiring harness to the tcu, but i figured if nothing is wrong with the harness and everything comes out normal i would have to pretty much say its the tcu right?
my freind has a 90 yj and he put on an alabama h.o cylinder head out of a 93 i believe. He said the only thing different is they had to weld over some of the water jackets to match up to the 1990 block. i would stick with the h.o head

while i had my head off i ran down to home depot and went in the cleaning section. They have these very long wire type flexible brush that i use to clean out my manifold and it came out like brand new. i let the manifold soak in some citrus degreaser over night and that loosend up the carbon.
i dont have a sway bar in the rear of my 90. i have the hyrdo shocks that came with my rustys lift and that really gives you a rush when your flying around a corner. id strongly suggest you keep the front on. lol

the tranny level is in the normal range when at operating temperature, its new fluid, but even when i changed the fluid when i did the tranny filter it didnt smell burnt or didnt have any odd color.
i checked by tv cable even though that would be a mechanical problem. Seems to be fine. tommorow im going to check my harness and check the neutral start switch.
