The PO of my jeep put bush whackers on it and cut way past the spot welds. So far i haven't noticed any problems with it. Not the way i would have done but it seems to be allright.
maybe its just to many engineering classes but the units used there look like the heat transfer depends on the mass of the metal, so with copper being far more dense than aluminum i would think that the numbers might be skewed slightly (geiven that they are constructed the same). I saw something...
ive done the diffs on my ranger and front and rear on my jeep and ive just cleaned the surfaces pretty good (grinder w/ wire brush on the cover and razor blade on the diff) put a bead on the cover bolt it on and fill it up. Never had any trouble with leaks.
it probably just needs to be recharged, i bought my 97 in september and the ac was just barely working then, now the compressor wont kick on so im assuming its just low on r-134a
they fit any cherokee, i have a set from an 86 or 92 i think... something like that. On my 97, they worked just fine, i do need to put new nuts on the crossmember tieins though, the old ones stripped out
Ijust changed my rear end fluid. and used the mobil 1 75-140, i figured since i have the bigger tires and do alot of highway driving i might as well. But that stuf is expensive, i payed $15 a quart at autozone, where as the regular 75-90 i got for the front axle was like $7
