    gearing is a pretty involved process thats worth letting professionals do, especially if you don't know what your doing. Are the gears high pinion?

    TJ D35 on my XJ?

    nah, $450 isn't far off what you would pay for an 8.8 here. It'll be easier to put the 8.8 in an XJ because you only have to grind off 4 things, whereas it would be a huge PITA to grind off the old TJ brackets. Get an 8.8, you won't be sorry.

    just lifted...rear sag and axle question (pics)

    my rustys aal was put in the same position as his, based on the instructions. I mean, mine might be wrong too, but it provided the desired amount of lift, and has not sagged in over 2 years. I'd imagine that the leaf is in backwards, not in the wrong place.
