I sold an axle to a guy and he said his calipers wouldn't fit the brackets axle was 88 aprox and was going under an 90

can anyone tell me if all the dana 30 axles front disc brake pad holder pcs are the same on all front axles say 84-97?? holder for the disc brake on the front bolts to the back of the hub area is what i'm talking about. thanks

I dont know what I use more of fuel or oil, never had an oil leak until i changed it with vavoline, now the front and rear mains leak... my 88 cherokee 4.0L on 31x9.50x15 3" lift aw4 trans, OD not working, front axle is out of a 93 so there is not a vacum disconect on it. I get 18-19mpg

I have never tried anything other than autolite, in my 88 cherokee, just gave it a tune up and then filled up at the gas station and got water in my fuel....out hunting and started to act up as it got low on fuel.

I had the same problem after I replaced my front end with newer style. the poping noise came on a little at a time over a month period. checked all my nuts and bolts all tight..hmm drove it some more got worse finally it got to the point that it was doing it when going over bumps in the main...

are the gears in the front and rear the same?

my 88 cherokee has a cone filter in it and what do you guys think about it sucking that hot air under the hood??? cherokees get very hot under the hood. think it helps mpg or decreases the mpg? what is better hot air in the engine or cold air in the engine?

what about autolite plugs??

what year did the front dana 30 axle that has the vaccum actuator in it become a non vaccum actuator??:eyes:

this will be on an 84 cherokee with 4cyl stick.

we are going to start a convertion in about a month, going to put a 350 chevy motor and I think we just got a 231 (I think) transfer case and we are going to see if we can find a auto trans and a dana 60 full width rear and 44 full width front. guess we will do a write up. I havn't found a...
