i work at a jeep dealer but even at my cost i assume it'll be more than i want to spend. i have done alot of kj wreck jobs though (this past winter) and i might be able to locate the rears in our little "junkyard" on our lot.
only use a dab of sealer where the timing cover meets the block to help seal that crack/division up. and you should try to find a t/b gasket, it should only be a couple bucks even from a dealership if you have to go to one. is your old one not usable anymore?
just thinkin, would this work w/o modification like you have to do to zj backing plates? i mean i realize its not much modification to make zj brakes work from what i've read, but would kj brakes work since they have 8.25s in them? anyone done anything w/ this or any insight to shed? thanks
This is what we do at our shop as well. usually when we take UCA's off we rachet the axle down w/ the comealong before we take them off, then when they come off the axle wont move and they'll slip right back in. the huge pipe wrench idea sounds like it would work too though.

4 only have 5ooo miles on them
1 is brand new never touched pavement
