    Air Conditioning Woes

That is what the sticker on the compressor said. That is just the low side didn't look at the high side. I can evacuate it again. Do i put vacuum to both the high and low side? How do I know if there is too much oil and how much do you drain from where?

Air worked fine prior to the clutch bearings going out. Although there aren't many parts left from before the bearings exploded.

    Heating AC Question

So after I replaced my air conditioning compressor, dryer and fixed orifice tube it seems I made my evaporator leak. I have it out and am waiting for the new one to get here. A/C CLutch?

OK So i need a new compressor. If I am going to tear everything apart then I think I need a new thermistor. The evaporator will freeze up if I run the air on high for too long. Any one know where it is for sure? IT is a 97 Sport. Mike

    A/C CLutch?

My ac wasn't cooling at all so I recharged the system and all is well. Pressures are within limits. Now this morning it was still getting cold but it has been making a lot of noise and now a burning smell. I am assuming that the clutch is bad. How do you tell if the compresser went bad...

    Clutch Help

I have a 97 XJ sport. For the last few months It has been difficult to shift into first gear after coming to a stop in neutral. If I let the clutch out while in neutral and then depressed it again I wouldn't be able to get it back into gear. Then last week there was once when I pushed the...
