That is what the sticker on the compressor said. That is just the low side didn't look at the high side. I can evacuate it again. Do i put vacuum to both the high and low side? How do I know if there is too much oil and how much do you drain from where?
It is about 85F here right now. I had it to vacuum the whole time I put the dash back together. I can just about guarantee that took more than 30 minutes.
I have a 97 Xj sport. About a month ago the bearings went out of the compressor clutch bearing. Very bad. So I put in a new compressor. Well after reading the factory service manual and here I decided that I needed to replace the fixed orifice tube and the accumulator. So I did. But...
So after I replaced my air conditioning compressor, dryer and fixed orifice tube it seems I made my evaporator leak. I have it out and am waiting for the new one to get here. I have always had a problem with the air blowing real cold then getting warm and water blowing out of the vents because...
replaced compressor, acummulator and fixed orifice tube. Now evaporator is leaking (My fault). SO i have the dash torn down and am waiting for parts. All in all it hasn't been that bad.

It is doing much better since I bled it. The real problem is that I am leaving town and leaving the XJ with my wife to drive. So I am sure that something will explode when I am 50 miles from town. And you may be thinking why is this moron leaving the jeep with the wife? I am traveling with a...
I have a 97 XJ sport. For the last few months It has been difficult to shift into first gear after coming to a stop in neutral. If I let the clutch out while in neutral and then depressed it again I wouldn't be able to get it back into gear. Then last week there was once when I pushed the...
