I have a factory reconditioned Handler 135. I have no complaints about it. Saved a bunch, was $379 shipped if I remember correctly. Carries the same warranty. 1/3/5 year. The gun is 1 year, everything else is either 3 or 5, can't remember what falls in each category.
Depends on the specific classification of flux-core wire in question. For a self shielding flux-core wire, yes it runs DCEN. For gas shielded flux-core, it runs DCEP, like hardwire. All depends on the wire classification.
In my expierence, brand of wire does make a difference. My work...
Seems to me that you could get the truck, take the axles, part out anything else that someone will take, junk the rest, and easily make up the $300 price difference.
I favor the 9" over a 60.
Along the edge of a plate there is less metal for the heat to disapate into. It'll look like more penetration than you're actually getting because the weld heat will be more concentrated. Cut across the weld, or bend the joint apart (providing you only welded one side of the joint) so the...
OEM Diesel XJ battery tray part number: 23034232
Near direct bolt in on the drivers side. It does need a little trimming to clear the PS pump. Doesn't come with bolts, but the holes in the tray line right up with the holes in the sheel metal. A 6x6 cone filter instead of the factory airbox...
I have the Handler 135, good machine for the money. Only 20% duty cycle, but everything in it's class is like that. HF has factory reconditioned (full warranty) 135's for $379 + ship.
From what it looks like it does one side at a time. I've used an ironworker with a tube/pipe notching attachment that looked similar to that.
I can't find a way to easily describe how it works, so I drew a picture.
It notches one side at a time. Don't think you can do anything other than...
I have that one. I've been happy with it. It's a light duty unit, and does have a 20% duty cycle. It only has four voltage settings. I bought mine from Harbor Freight. Factory reconditioned (full factory warranty), for $379...
You can get almost any gear ratio for a 9". Closest to 5.38 I've see is 5.43 though, not sure if that would be considered close enough or not.
I'm doing 5.13's in my 9", what my new to me front 44 already has.
I'm shooting for 36's, and will have a tripple digit crawl ratio. No illusions...
When I swapped D30 fronts, the old stabilizer bolt sheared off at the tierod. Decided to leave it off and see how it drove. Steering was lighter than with the stabilizer, but no ill effects. So I left it off. Going to do the same thing with the 44 I'm getting ready to go in. Try it without...
I don't know about the strength of the chain drive cases. I think they are smaller than the 231 in physical size and length. I think they use flanges intead of yokes at both ends, like the gear cases.
I'm committed to pass drop. Already got a front end to match it. Haven't paid much...
I am up to the point of trying to find the correct parts to mate dual Toy gear drive cases behind my AX-15.
The AX-15 is in the Toyota R series of manual transmissions. This includes the R150, R151, and R154. The AX-15 and R150 are nearly identical (differences include tailhousing and...
