just wondering... not like i do this at all, but does it hurt anything to cruse in neutral in an automatic while the engine is still idleing. want to know cuz it would be a lot easier to press the brake every once and a while then the gas a lot. tia

i tried the staple gun with 1/4" inch staples and they wouldnt stick so i got the 1/2" staples and no more ducking. yay. it doesnt look to pretty but niether does my jeep.

my headliner sags a lot, to the point of me having to duck when i drive. if i took a staple gun and just stapled it up, would that work? would the staples go into whatever is above the liner and stay? im too lazy to take it off and reglue or whatever is the right way and im not too woried...

what is the normal running temp. my gauge never goes past the second bold line and my neighbor says this is too low. is my thermostat off? tia

my front passenger door got pushed forward and then dented in my front fender. i was checking out some other xj's and say a few others like that, is that a common problem? or am i just lucky. if it is common, is there an easy way to fix the door? TIA

ya, i am going to get the tps and steering gearbox replaced on tuesday/wednesday so then i will find out how good my engine is running. i thought it was crap till someone told me it might be my tranny. im still learning a lot about cars.

my 87 had 215k miles and i dont think the engine has ever been rebuilt cuz the guy i got it from never said it was and if i were selling a car, i would say if anythign has been rebuilt. but.....i was wondering if it is about time for a rebuild, it runs good but sounds like walking through...

the d44 has an octoganal diff and the 35 has a round diff. i have an 87 with the tow package and it only has the 35, im kinda disappointed.

I have an 87 xj with the original towing package and it only has a dana 35 axle and it looks like pretty small leaf springs. can i still tow stuff even though the strength in the back of the suspension is weak or should i not? i plan on maybe towing a 16 ft. sailboat a couple times this summer...
