My wife has a 97 xj as a daily driver. 4wd, 4.0, AT, 107k - nothing too fancy, all stock. Last night on the way home, it started to sputter. By the time we got another mile, it sputtered really bad, another 1/2 mile and wouldn't go at all. It idled like poop and had no power. So...we AAA it...

97 xj, 4.0 AT, 100k When I start the Jeep, I have no oil pressure for about 5 seconds. Then it takes off and idles at 40 (while cold) and seems to be running perfect. I've changed the sending unit - had no affect. Any advice???

Any help with the acronyms and locations of these doo-dads so I can check the wiring out? The light just came back on again - looks like it's for real anyway. Could this be related to the NSS? Does it just need a good cleaning again or is the torque converter a completely different sensor...
