Wow never knew there was such a demand for knock off diff covers that you now have to send in a warranty card. I understand solid and rockcrusher are now two different companies, but they also have two different names on their diff covers.
I had teh teras and wasnt too happy with them, they werent bad but my jeep is so bent and twisten nothing likes to line up. I would hold out for the jks or some from nth degree.
They have some special 1/2" bolts that go thru the floor the bolt has a 5/16" thread tapped into it. The know attaches into there. The legs are 2 piece which i think could easily be lengthened with some extra tube and a couple of bolts.
They are a modified camburg ranger shackle. I just think that the bushings are not allowing the front of the leaf to twist as much as the rear and its binding up. Not a big fan of poly bushings.
I drilled out the hd bracket to work with the re1600 and the heim joint. I cant remember if i had to cut down the misalignment spacers. It works fine with long arms and 7" lift. Just make sure you get good hardware grade 8 flat washers and a grade c lock nut. Ive seen too many people cheap...
Right now i have skyjacker 5.5" leafs with some 6.5" long shackles and 12" travel shocks in the stock location. I do not have that much downtravel. Its like the rear binds way before the sock is maxed out or even 3 " from maxing out. The up travel I limited so I would not bottom out the...
