i have a lockrite, you would never know it unless I put my jeep in 4x4. I was confussed at one point as well, but i realized that there is no amnt. of torque applied to the front axle in 2x4, so the lockrite remains un-locked.

Well, are these 'hacks' worth buying if you want to increase performance, or do you think they'll just won't do a dang thing?

back in the day, my buddy was talked into taking his 92' stock XJ in a massive hole, with lots of water, maybe 2.5 ft. deep. Yeah, it was bad, his engine stalled out 1/2 way(probably bc to air was coming into airbox), some how....to our amasement, water was not coming in. WE pulled him out...

I got the Lockrite in the D30, love it! nothing noticable on-road(obviously bc its not in 4x4) and badass off road. I want to get a limited slip, no-slip kind of rearend sometime soon.
