Well, its mostly paranoia, but you could use the plate number to get personal data if you knew someone at the DMV who was willing to run the plates. I suppose someone could also call your plate number in as stolen too, but that would fall apart as soon as the cops "found" your vehicle.

My 87 MJ has a 4.0 from an 01 Grand Cherokee. Everything fit fine.

The TPS goes out when it goes out. My 87 MJ original TPS lasted 21 years. The replacement lasted 2 months. The 2nd replacement hasn't failed . . . yet.

4x4 MJ in 86 came stock with 3.55s. 4.11s were optional at the time. I don't know how to tell the difference by looking, but but you could jack up the rear end and turn the rear wheel while counting the driveshaft revolutions.

I have an Express Super Magnum. Shoots 2 3/4, 3 and 3.5 shells no problem. You'll probably never shoot 3.5s, but it won't hurt anything if you buy it anyway.

For a RENIX, the input voltage is optimum at 5.0V. However, my MJ has varied from one test to another from 4.66 to 4.85V. Given the grounds and age of the system, this is not unusual. That said, if you have an automatic, you are supposed to multiply whatever output voltage you have by .830...

My MJ has a Ford Mustang pump in it. As long as the fuel delivery pressure and rate is stock or a little higher its fine.

I went to JC Whitney and got some generic stuff that worked out fine. Didn't save the receipt so I can't tell you the part number, but its basically just 1/2" wide and 3/4" deep weatherstripping. Also got the window frame weatherstripping from JC Whitney.
