    Reverse Logic No Heat Problem

Agreed. I really hate messing with control unit because like everyone else, I'm plague with under spec wiring / connectors on the HVACs electrical side. I got toothpicks keeping the connector pins aligned as the last short melted and about set it on :flame:.

    Reverse Logic No Heat Problem

It does not matter as long as the valve opens you’re going to get heat if everything else is good. Even if the valve is bad, it defaults to open so you’re still going to get heat. It is recommended that you follow arrow on valve for supply in / this side up depending on your interpretation...

    Reverse Logic No Heat Problem

I've searched and can't find an answer. Any help greatly appreciated and sorry for the long post. 1992 XJ, 4.0L, auto. I have no heated air coming out the vents at any blower speed with the heater control valve connected to the vacuum line. I start the Jeep with HVAC controls set to off...

    "The Walking Dead" on AMC

I don't know if this was just a warm-up to a final Negan versus Rick group showdown, but compared to the Govnah, this fight scene was a little weak and unconvincing; imho. The thing with Sasha tore me up though...

    Please Identify

I had to replace the passenger’s side smoker’s window and found this cable thingy laying inside the bottom of the door. The white plastic piece is a slip on panel clip to door bottom. I can't tell what the other end is connected to and the open end looks like it was broke off??? See links to...

    Hardest Fix On Your XJ?

I had a broken stud and did not completely remove the intake. :banghead: Let's hope I'll be long dead before doing this fix again.:confused1

    Hardest Fix On Your XJ?

92 XJ 4.0 Cracked Exhaust manifold replacement: Juggling intake and new exhaust manifold with one hand to keep flush on block and trying to line up the bottom bolts with the other. By myself, this job was a feking major PITA. 2. Rear main seal due to 7 snapped rusted oil pan bolts.

Weird dead, low, high idle issues

I cleaned the IAC and throttle body. Now it idles about 400rpm higher. I notice that the IAC was loose in the throttle housing. I could twist it about half inch either way. It's been like that since I owned the Jeep and I'm assuming that ain't right. Do I need to perform a reset on the...

Weird dead, low, high idle issues

It's a 1992 with the 4.0 HO. Sorry for not stating that on my OP guys. Been searching the forum and I'm assuming no adj is needed on the TPS. I exchanged it for another one and will attempt the tb cleaning. Thanks again, I greatly appreciate it.

Weird dead, low, high idle issues

Jeep was dying at idle once or twice every 3 or 4 days for about 3 weeks. From out of nowhere it now has high idle 1850rpm from cold engine start. Traced the TPS harness and swapped in a good TPS. No change, still idles high. Any ideas?
