I need the Low Pressure A/C fitting/port that goes on top of the compressor for a Renix 4.0.
It's the part that screws onto the top of the compressor and the low pressure hose screws onto the back of it.
It's marked as the 7/16 one below:
Check the center contact in your distributor cap and make sure it's making good contact with the rotor button and not binding. If it's not contacting correctly it can arc.
Here a link that describes your problem:

Thankfully the front brakes are totally independent from the rear (that's why the front portion of the reservoir is still ok) so yes you can drive the 2 miles ok. Put on the rear line, fill up the reservoir and BE CAREFUL!
Have you ever towed that trailer before? Any chance somehow the trailers wiring is connected to the problem? Kind of strange to have that issue with such a light load and then have the problem disappear when the trailer is unattached. Weird though that you didn't have the problem going out to...
Yep. Last week I almost scored a brand new Archer Brothers front airdam but I'm unfortunately laid off right now and couldn't justify getting it. :tears:
My MJ is 2wd & I'd love to incorporate some Archer Bros stuff into it.
That's great! I'm not ever letting loose of this MJ either. Zero rust, well maintained from new, she's a keeper. Take care of them and they'll take care of you.
Don't take care of them and you too can bitch and cry around about how terrible they are. :D
I've had 2 XJ's and my current MJ.
I bought the 1st one brand new in 1988 and other than the hydraulic throw out bearing and 1 water pump I had ZERO problems from mile 1 to 185,000 when I finally sold her in the mid 1990's.
The second one was a 2000 XJ, I only had her for 30,000 miles but...
Those are off a 97-98 Grand Cherokee.

Well that didn't take long!! I was buzzing around the block a couple of hours ago on my old SL350 and saw that it was gone, I assumed you were up at Windrock.
Congratulations on your sale.
BTW Matt, check your email.

Folks, I have had the pleasure of seeing Matt's MJ in person, it's an animal!
He has done a fantastic job on it & someone is going to get an exceptional rig. Get it and show those pretenders how it's done!
