    Its only under the glove box on earlier models as mine is 1999 the glove box is down under and a air bag in up top.

    I have just replaced the complete trans cooling lines, from radiator to auto.Starting from the radiator I cut off 1 inch of pipe leaving a straight piece of pipe to connect to.I then fitted 2 brass three eight compression fittings and a tail to connect the rubber hose to and fitted the hose...

    AW4 problem

    Anyboby know where to find the TCU !! in an 1999 jeep cherokee.It is not under the glove box like earlier models as the glove box is lower in my case. Cheers.

    Have removed the 2 bolts on the auto which connect the oil lines to the radiator and no problems ,. thanks for everybodys help. NZ Jeep.

    Kelly, can you tell me weather I can remove the 2 long bolts coming from the auto.These lines are the ones that connect the auto oil lines to the radiator.Can I remove these 2 bolts without anything falling into the inside of the auto ; ie are they connected to anything or simply a bolt on...

    Jason, Can you tell me if I can remove the 2 bolts on the auto where the oil lines clip into ?.I wish to remove them and replace with brass fittings and a rubber pipe from the auto to the radiator. Cheers.

    I'm wanting to replace the entire line because it has to many joins for my liking and I have punctured the steel auto lines with the front suspension arm causing great discomfort in the middle of the Mamaku forest.I have just replaced both bump stops on the front and this may have been the cause...

    Sounds like you have gone to a lot of bother like myself. I have tried to replace the entire hose line from the radiator to the auto with rubber.I have thrown away all jeep parts and simply connected rubber hoses to the radiator pipes with brass fittings and run these hoses above the engine...
