So, I have a 3" lift on an 87 XJ with 226,000 miles. I have new OME coils and DeutschTech shocks on front along with new adj. track bar (with ball joint) , new heavy duty steering stabilizer, new quick disconnects and 30" tires. I shimmed out the LC arms to bring the caster back into near normal...

I switched over to the 180 as well. Makes a huge difference in keeping the motor cool. Another problem I had was that I kept getting an air lock in the system, which would usually find its way to the heater core, then I would have to "burp" the system. Try filling the block and radiator...

Thanks for the advice. I have ordered Old Man Emu heavy duty 3" springs, but they have not been shipped yet, so I thought about changing my mind if need be. Anyone know about the OME heavy duty 3" coil springs?

Can anyone tell me the best company to purchase 3" coil springs from for an 87 XJ? Which have the best ride and dont wind up sagging in a few years? Also, for a 3" front lift, is it advisable to change out the lower control arms to correct for the lift? Nathan O. Columbia, MO
