    4low and neutral not engaging

This may be pointless, but worth the check. There's a horizontal rod from your body to a bracket. Ensure this is FULLY in place. If the bushing is hiding the misalignment, I'm pretty sure it'd have fallen out by now though. Best bet is get your "super-awesome-spectacular-ladyfriend" in there...

    Strike Two: Jeep vs Semi

Glad to hear you're ok. That's a nasty collision. I feel your pain man. Sucks losing something you put so much work into. In early 08 I lost my trailer queen 96 to a concrete block while towing. Got lucky and picked up a running 98 with 4" lift for only $400. It'll all work itself out...

How negotiable are salvage yard part prices?

I did a write up of local yards between Seattle and Graham 12-13 months ago. Pretty sure I hit 80% of them at least. If I recall, I was pretty thorough.

    Brakes Seized?

Appreciate the help gents. I'll take a better look at things tomorrow. I am confident that the knuckles are good. Didn't see any wear when I was replacing parts. Thanks again.

    Brakes Seized?

There's a new "flap" in both hoses? It would seem far fetched... Also, If the master cylinder applies hydraulic pressure to my calipers, wouldn't it also release the hydraulic pressure? What if it's not releasing the pressure? ie something acting as a check valve similar to your flap idea...

    stuck upper control arm bolt

From now on, start with the correct socket. Whether that be a 6 side or what have you. I promise, I've relearned that lesson many a times! Also, try a cheap grinder. Either a grinding wheel or a cutting one should work fine. I've had surprsingly good luck with a chisel and a hammer. I...

    Brakes Seized?

I have 2 late models with the same problem. 1st: My '98 trail rig Calipers seized on a trail. I installed loaded calipers. All was good for about 5 miles. Now they're semi seized. (When moving I hear the calipers clunking as 4lo and 4.88s overpower them) When the pedal is depressed, the...

Reiter Foothills DNR update (Work Party 5/16)

Re: Reiter Foothills DNR update MODS!! Why isn't this stickied? Michael, I haven't been around here much lately. As always, I greatly appreciate all the work you do with the preservation of our local trails. I'm a bit confused with what exactly Candace is looking for. I'd love to help, but...

    show your swag

Gave away a bunch of crap in my shed, somehow made $10 and spent $60 on a set of 5.38s. Not concrete yet, but I got a line on a bridgeport mill and tubing bender. I have room for neither.

    NEW JEEP?

The star card was great until they started allowing the purchase of alcohol and smokes. It was all downhill from there! :)

    hahaha you read quadratec! :)

    NEW JEEP?

Agreed. I wouldn't bother. If you're looking to "build" you credit, get a small credit card, buy a Mcdonald's meal once a month and pay it off; pay for a Bally's membership once a month. Hell, buy a cheap laptop from Dell. No need to waste 4-7k unnecessarily. When you say rust, how bad...
