    Laptop-based GPS

My brother has one of the cheaper garmin models and he's happy with it. I don't know how well they hold up from personal experience though. My 60c has been submerged a couple of times while it was still under warranty. I wanted to test it. It never got a drop in the battery compartment and...

    Laptop-based GPS

I drive truck and use a Garmin GPSMap 60c with Garmin Mapsource City Select on my laptop. Its fantastic for on road excursions, just type in the address and go. For off roading in my jeep I use the same handheld but use Garmin Mapsource Topo. The handheld unit and both programs give you a lot...

Water? on passenger side floor (not heater core)

The AC doesn't work. I think it probably needs charged. Regardless it doesn't work. I'll check that drain anyway. Thanks for the quick replies. Anyone else have any different ideas just in case?

Water? on passenger side floor (not heater core)

I have something, looks like water, accumulating on the passenger side floor. I don't think its the heater core because it is not affected by turning the heat on or off. I recently replaced the valve that allows hot water into the heater core so it shouldn't allow any flow when off. Anybody...

Please explain advantage to larger tires

Thanks for all of the info everyone. I'm going to stick with my plan of a 3" lift and 31" tires. I've been reading about what you should add/change to do the lift and will take your advice into consideration. ie I have alot more searching and reading to do of the forums.

Please explain advantage to larger tires

First off I'm a newb to xj's. 4x4's in general for that matter. Right now I'm thinking of putting a 3" lift on and 31" tires. I've been searching and reading the forums for the last couple of weeks and think this is what I'd like for now unless replies to this post have me rethinking my...
