Old thread but the 52304 is NOT california compliant. The 81850 is. Just curious what state you are in and if all your error codes and inspections went OK since installing the 52304?
its a 00 xj. Rather than welding a standard 3 hole flange onto the exhaust pipe I would prefer to weld up a flange to the front of the cat. If I could just find this odd ass flange I would be all set.
So I purchased some so called "direct fit" exhaust parts. The walker 53440 front pipe that crosses over from one side of the truck to the other has some odd 3-hole flange on it. I had a Magnaflow universal cat already boy the standard 3-hole flange adaptors don't match up to the walker...
I lost the nut that goes on the factory fuse panel in all these pictures. It appears to be a 5/16 in size but anyone know what thread it is? It just brought this upgrade to a halt.
Does anyone make a rear trackbar kit for an XJ? I had a Ford E350 Quigly 4x4 and it made a hell of a difference on preventing ass wag on the highway. Granted its a lot of ass on the full length e350.
My offload use is strictly on the beach only and then local road use. Not a daily driver...
One of my favorite Jeeps but what a shame. Could not even clean the engine compartment prior to the engine install? Maybe paint the valve cover and oil pan..... What a shame....
