Thats what I was thinkin would be best for the fuel also. Plus it is easier replacing a pump on the engine then to replace one in the tank. Im probably going to go with the np 241 I called down to our local salvage yard and they can get me one for $70... also i looked at our 91 chevy 2500 and...

Yea im sure its also hard to keep your foot from stompin on the pedal and letting that v8 roar. It turns out that t-case is a np 208 so the 241 should bolt right up.
Thanks for the tip ill keep the poly mounts in mind when i get the engine mounts. Ill have to go back to our woods and dig out that scottsdale because i think that t-case could have been a np 408. It was passangerside drop so i didnt pay attention to it when i pulled the engine. But if the bolt...

I probably wouldnt need a adapter for the chevy np 241 it should bolt up to the sm420. that will save me 700 bucks and i could put that to a t-case and a slip yoke eliminator. The 350 and tranny came from either a '85 or '86 chevy scottsdale. does anyone know what years would be best to pick up...
I do like my np242 case, its nice having the full-time option. What other cases bolt up to my transmission which is a sm420, With adapters i can get the np242 and np231 to bolt up to it.
Hi Im in the process of putting a 350 in my jeep and I planned on going from 3inches of lift to a little over 5 and wanted to put a sye probably a hack and tap on my 242. One problem im worried about the strength of the shaft. Anyone have some strong ideas or companies that sell kits for this...
