Hey bought and installed my Rubicon rims on my free Cooper STT tires today.
It's looking pretty good but the clear coat has bad spots on all rims.
Anyone strip off the clear coat before.
I want to clean 'em up any way to do this without much expense???
Thanks,
Matt
Hey I'm running a 3" Skyjacker setup. I'm thinking of adding another 1-1.5" to it. Wondering how to do it. Do I need to install a new 4" lift or can I add an inch to my present setup???
Also I currently have a TC drop (1") if I go into the 4"area can I still use the drop or will I need a SYE...
Thanks for the info guy's...It was a pretty crappy day so I didn't get around to it.
I'm working the next six days so I'll get it done on next thursday.
Hey guys got a '99 with the drooping liner. I just looked at the jeep and want to know what size torx I need to remove the rear seatbelts from the roof???
Also it looks like the two screws next to the windshield...visors...along the trim...grab handles and above the rear hatch need to come...
xjtrailrider...
Nice set-up's you guys have. I guess I'll check into the yakima racks. I was trying to find a rack that attached to the side bars of the factory rack. Then I would be able to remove the factory load bars.
Something about the new rack going over the factory rack just irks me...
Got a '99 XJ with a factory rack. I've been using foam blocks and ratchet straps to carry my 13.8ft kayak. It's been working but I don't trust it for any high speed distance travel.
Was thinking of a rack that I can use. It seems that I would need towers and a load bar with the gutter system...
