Finally got my lift installed. What do you think?

If your kit didn't come with longer sway bar links, look up ProComp 55597B. They were the first affordable option I found. I've been running stock TJ rear links up front for a couple years now but running at an angle is rough on the bushings. I second NOT doing a t-case drop. It's a band-aid...

2000 XJ Front end Dives when braking

Rough Country calls for a minimum 4½" lift for those drop brackets.

Picked up an 01 XJ. Need some help figuring a few things out.

That is the only front bumper I've ever seen done right! The stock fender flares need something to die into. I'm interested in it when you take it off. What does the writing on the bull bar say?

Looking for a better mounting system for my roof basket

I've found lots of results, but little real info. Right now I have a Curt C18115 with the Curt C18117 extension. I've had it mounted across 4 stock XJ roof slats with its stock mounts, but I'm looking to mount it more securely and lower to the roof. Any suggestions?

Patching small rust holes with duct tape and POR15?

As the tape breaks down, it's going to start holding moisture in. I'd suggest a different method. As for using sealant foam, unless you're using expensive closed cell stuff, you're basically shooting a sponge into your panels. If you have a special foam gun for which you purchase cartridges...

    Instrument Cluster

The 2000 has two screws - one top and one bottom - to mount it. I pulled the lower screw out, buffed it up on the wire wheel, and reinstalled it nice and tight. I'm going to do the other as well, along with the two bolts that mount the bracket that the box is secured to.

    Instrument Cluster

That's what I thought, though it's definitely nearest my right foot. Thanks!

    Instrument Cluster

I know I've brought this thread back from the dead but this is the first time I've heard of this suggestion. I pulled the kick panel in my 00 and saw no such "box." Can anyone offer more details as to what this poster was referring to?

NO BUS starts and runs fine

Giving up for the time being. Bought a ScanGauge to keep an eye on the vitals. I'll just never know how much gas I have.

That would just explode my inbox with notifications. That's not the functionality I'm looking for.

Suggestion: My Threads or My Replies, additional link in header menu

Should be a simple copy and paste job. http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=281880 But yeah, the tone was supposed to be more sarcastic than it reads.

Suggestion: My Threads or My Replies, additional link in header menu

What I should have been saying by April 18th: "Great response from the admins. I'll be sure to send my membership fees in ASAP." Instead, it's June 14th and no one has said anything. The bad thing is, "We can't," "We don't want to," or, "We won't," all would have been acceptable responses.

No_bus this morning and tried all the tricks here to no avail. Any other ideas?

NO BUS starts and runs fine

BUMP! Fighting this issue myself. It's gotten so bad, I've been riding around with the dash panel in the back seat and all the screws in the cup holder for a month now. I upgraded the plug earlier this year with no change. I've had it not be an issue for 3 months at a time and then I've had...
