I've got an 89 w/ dana 35c non c clip. Need to install left side wheel bearing and seals. Does anyone know the order of assembly? I searched around the web for a photo no luck. Which way the bearing and seals are suppose to face? Any advise for putting them on, I don't have a press. A link...

Mine has the plastic molding from front to rear, it's starting to fall off. (89 Laredo) I want to take all of it and the pinstriping. What is a good product to use to get the adhesive off from under the plastic molding. Stuff is stuck on good. TIA, Jay.

I used a dremel to clean up a little road rash on the tip of the spline. There is a small gouge on the axle housing, I'll smooth it out. I believe I've tapped in bearings before, its been years. Amazing what an inexpensive part can do. My Jeep and Kawi are broke right now, I've got some work to...

Thats good news. Eagle: there is no machined grove next to the splines. So I'm looking to replace all the bearings & seals? Plus the backing plate due to the 3 wheeled landing performed at 50mph!?! Thanks everyone

Thanks guys. The axle is stamped '35 C'. C for clip? I'll tear into it a little more from the right side and look. On the spline side it is 'hollow' as if something was in there. Will check further. From the brake side there's the flange, gets skinnier, then some kinda thing that I thought was...

Tossed an axle shaft out of the driver side casing, is this the C-clip people talk about. It's not broke, it came out in one piece. After some wheel'in. Damage I can see so far: All the bearings, backing plate, and it looks like some of the tips of the splines got a little mushed. What should I...

OK, Wife dog & I are up in Evans yesterday (3-Mar) and did the 198 trail. Got to try out the new winch per the open diffs and 225x15's. Anyways. coming out on sr165 before carbonado, right before the one lane bridge, we notice a recognizable Jeep wheel, tire and axle shaft assembly racing ahead...

We were out at Elbe a couple weeks ago, went up a double diamond w/ p225x75x15, 3" lift. Had no problems. Supposedly theres a place by Kapowsin but I don't know where. I'm going to try Evans soon.
