Also wondering has anyone else had their horn come on for no reason, and stay on until the fuse blows? Also have an intermentent airbag light. 99XJ only had it a few days.
Bought a 99 XJ recently, and apparenlty last night the horn was going off constant for about 45 mins. Poor guy wanted to kick my ass, anyway now I have an intermintent air bag light and horn comes back on when I put a new fuse in. Have read all the stuff on here about the clock spring...
Atlas is clear of body and crossmember vibrations are ONLY coming trough the shift levers, Atlas manual says that would be pinion angle, however I have tried every different angle possible with no change, starting to think tranny problem but wanted some other feedback.
I have a 92 XJ, 4.5" lift, recently installed Atlas 3.8:1 T-case and swapped stock Dana 35 for a Chrysler 8.25 with 3.55 gears. Have a high frequency vibration coming up through Atlas shift levers worse during acceleration mainly 3rd, 4th and 5th gear (manual transmission) and a whine as speed...
Never had a problem with Rusty's in fact I recommend them to friends, order by phone and you should be good to go. No matter who the company ships with there's a brokerage fee to cross border.
