I do have the auto bell housing that was originally on it
You are right the bell housing might be different than the manual one I put on it
At least if I get spark after changing it back I will no the problem
My next plan of attack is to pull off the manual trans and flywheel
Put on the auto flex plate and see if I get spark
If I do I may need a flywheel from a 98 Cherokee in order for the tps to read it
The flywheel and ax15 trans came off a 94
How can I tell if the cps sees it
The cps tests fine using the ohm meter and I have two of them and still no spark
Should I have voltage at the coil if the cps isn't reading
How can I tell if the cps is reading off another flywheel I installed
Does it just open and close like a switch and can a volt meter see this if you crank the engine
Boss Cherokee
Yes the xj computer is looking for the auto trans but would that cut spark
Jpthrils how does the ASD system work I did pull another relay and put it the ASD plug but still nothing
Yes the computer from the xj is being used
Everything is the same as it sat in the xj the wiring and computer
The only difference is it doesn't have the auto trans and now an ax15 manual trans hooked up
I connected the neutral safety switch up just to get it to crank
I have not put a meter...
