hey guys. i recently ran all new brake lines on my xj, and when i attempted to bleed the system., i had some problems. i started with the rear first, and they both bled good, with lots of fluid coming out then i went onto the front and they both arent bleeding at all i removed the line...

im sorry, i searched and found my own answer, it turns out i have about 6 inches of lift or so i guess thats going to have to do, sure looks like im going ot have to lengthen my front driveshaft to reach it, maybe im wrong tho.

someone please correct me if im wrong but i remember reading somewhere that using anything other then normal steel brake lines, will give the brake pedal a softer, spongy feeling. this is because the insides of the stainless steel brake lines are able to flex and expand, and then your brake...

if its a gm then the front axle is a passenger side drop and wont work with your xj youll have to look at ford or international harvester front ends for drivers side drop preferably early to mid 70's ford f250/f350's./

ok, what diffs are possible to get on a 1987 FORD 3/4 TON 4x4. im going to swap them into my xj, the guy lives an hour away and i want to know what diffs they are.

i live in edmonton alberta where it was -37 degrees celcius a day ago, and my 33 ltb's had insane flat spot for about 2 km's, after that, it was smooth sailing from then on out. i use airsoft bb's to balance as well, and i comfortably drive at 120km/h with no vibs.
