my 87 had a 35 now it has an 8.8 and it came with a factory tow

I paid a shop to install my 8.8 It has been worth it. No problems after 3 yrs or so. No wheel spacers,just bought new wheels with proper backspacing. Ihad them weld my tubes also and install a lockright, cant beat a guarantee.

I torched the eyes off the dakota main leaf and bolted it to the cherokee main leaf. I used all of the dakota pack including the overload bottom spring, Its pretty close to my 6.5 in front. I pull a trailer, but I think it flexs pretty good. This is with 8.8 rearend

87 5 speed 231 6.5 inch lift stock rear driveshaft with 8.8

put jeep in gear, lay under jeep, grab drive shaft and try to twist it while looking at ujoints there should be very little movement

I used a little jb weld on a couple of bolts

87 4.0 I went with the internal slave when I installed my nv3550 but I recently changed to external and I used my master cylinder and some brake line to connect to the slave. I did have to o ring the line into the slave but it hasnt leaked since and to bleed it I just pumped it and made sure it...

make sure the pilot bearing is big enough I wasted alot of time
