I had a 99 with this problem. I changed out all of the bulbs, just so I knew what I had to start with. Then I changed out the turn signal flasher, put in a heavy duty one. If I remember right, it was up under the drivers side of the dash

Like already said, spray, heat, cut the wires to use socket or wrench, once it starts moving, work it back and forth, a little at a time, there is carbon and stuff in the upper threads. Working it back and forth, loosens and removes it, making it easier... once it moves, don't force it....

I own a 2000 XJ and found a 99XJ for parts. Are the main components the same for like drop in swaps? Engine, exhaust, computers, ect... Thanks in advance.

When I bought my 2000, the light would stay on in either full or part time. It would be off in the morning. After a few cycles in and out, it started to work perfect. Must have a ball and spring type mechanism that possibly needs use to free up. Or you can just replace the switch on the...

Passenger side, lay on floor, look up, remove plastic cover, remove wire plug, remove two screws. The worst part it getting the plastic cover off and on.

Check for loose hose clamps and fittings. We have equipment that leak when they are cold, as they warm up they expand and the leaks stop. Someplace to start with anyways...
