    No Bus On Dash

    The reading of "no bus" means that the vehicles communication network is not functioning. The problem could be with the communication wire or in one of the other computers on the communication bus. The only way to properly diagnose a Bus failure is with a DRBIII(Jeep scan tool at dealership).

    if anybody has ever done google searches for this issue, you will find 1 post, on 5 different threads of the same guy trying to remove his asd circuit. can anybody explain what is involved in the circuit as well as how else would it go defective for anybody else with this issue at a later date?

    so i bought new fuses for it, and switched the fuel pump & ASD relays (which i do not think had anything to do with it) and the problems went away. i stopped on a hill and when i went to go leave i gave it harder throttle and the vehicle died, burning the 30A ASD fuse. i replaced it... fried it...

    found the problem. its a bad headgasket, not leaking into the cylinders which is why it passed compression tests, as well as its not leaking into the oil. simply blowing directly out of the head and block. put a little stop leak in for a temporary fix. thank you so much :P

    also may i add, it appears my cooling issue on my 2nd motor was due to a defective rad hose and a bad cap. the 1st motor had NO cooling issues, and the 2nd was perfect until the hose and cap went bad.
