I tow my 4500 lb boat and trailer behind my 2000 with RC leafs and their adjustable shackles. I even towed it 1500+ miles once. No sag...works ok, headlights point at the sky, which blows for driving at night :)
Well my bolt is definately not centered, but I have been driving it and there are no vibes. So nice to have a smooth jeep again! I didn't realise just how bad it was.
Two of my bolts broke off in the yoke on the differential. I just drilled the holes right through then put in some 1/4"( i...
Last night I cut the tail off my output shaft using the "vehicle-in-reverse method". My cut off wheel on my angle grinder cut through it like butter in a few mins. Made a perfectly straight cut and did even need to clean up the splines! Awesome.
So that went great, but I drilled my pilot...
Does anyone know the part number for a 8.25 29 spline rear yoke? Or any information? I snapped a bolt off in it, then tried to extract it but just effed the whole thing up. Ugh.
I just ordered my HnT from Iron Rock Offroad. I'll let you know what it's like when I install in a week or two.

And the tapping...

A 33 over the stock tire is 1.18 ratio increase. Not that bad. 4.56's would give you 1.28 over 3.55....just a bit extra oomph for the fact that you're accelerating bigger heavier rubber, and...

That's what she said.
Don't listen to the guys saying you need gears for 33s. No way.
I have run 33" SS TSL's and now am on 33" KM2s and it runs fine. I have even towed my 4000 lb boat up steap hills, albeit it struggles. For longer towing I put the stock wheels back on.
For offroading...
