Having just done a front axle u-joint, I used anti-seize in the axles where the caps press in.
It presented a challenge in trying to slide-in the u-joints sans caps; it was hard to not have the u-joint body touch the walls of the axle and get anti-seize on the u-joints where only grease...
I'm not planning to rock crawl or anything so I'm not worried about the lesser articulation. I'm pretty much limited to camping in rough but not crazy terrain and thus far I haven't even disconnected my sway bars.
As for NVH, we shall see I can always revert back. That's why I had to dive at...
Good to know but I don't recall these places coming up when I'd search for stuff on car-part. I'll have to check out their websites to see if they list their inventory (usually its just a car-part page with only their inventory).
To double back to the original issue; I wound up buying a reman...

What, may I ask, is a "blueprinted" oil pump? Do they buy a bunch and disassemble them and rematch the planetary gears by tightest clearance? Or is it just Hesco jacking...
My experience is that its a minefield from top to bottom unless the specific part has a boutique outfit that specializes in its manufacture. I don't know of any boutique automotive bearing manufacturers.
I see them now. Not perfect but good enough for government work considering its the stock shackle pocket.
You've given me something to think about, thanks!
