I was breaking d30 axle shafts everytime I went out on 33s and when I broke the chromoly and superjoint I had had enough.
Went with spooled 10.25 and spooled d60 5:13 gear and stock everything else on 38s.
I beat the piss out of it bad and have yet to have any...
I have 38s on 4" of lift, I could fit 40s if I had them.
Just got a new toy 91 xj put the old 3" lift on it that was on my other one before the ton swap. I plan on running 33s with 3".
It requires trimming but shouldnt be to bad.

You'll be fine without the sye for now.
Do a tcase drop and wait until you have the ability to swap in a 231 in my opinion. The 242 isnt terrible though so it'd be alright for now I just wouldnt put much money into one.
I went on 5" of lift and 33s for a few years with only a tcase drop and now...
This is hands down the best way to remove the carrier.
Installation is a breeze.
Pop the carrier out and read the directions.
Put the carrier back in and wheel.
Ive done 2 lock rights and one spartan. All were easy.
Well I got it together and tested it out in the drievway.
With the weight on it it flexes fine but it seems like its just waiting to destroy bushings and or rip off my lca mount.
I may remove the driver side upper but not sure if its good idea with the weight of the 60.

Nothing is hitting I had to grind some of my truss away because it was.
I am runnin about 9-10" down travel.
It could be the shocks.
I am running ruffstuff 3/4 heims with ruffstuff brackets.

Ok just got done gettin the dana 60 under the front of my xj.
I am having trouble with the driver side down travel when the panhard is hooked up.
The panhard is frame end driver side, axle end passenger.
the passenger side will droop out the limit of the 14" air shocks but the driver side only...
