Are you sure that you want to do your hood vents before Fordyce? I've seen a lot of pictures of XJ's with water up over the tops of people's hoods on that trail. Depending on how you build yours, they may just let water in more easily. If you leave your hood intact, it helps create an air pocket...

We were just at Evans Creek, NW of Mt. Rainier near Carbonado, last weekend. A couple of the trails are suitable for stock rigs. Trail numbers 120, 199, 280, and 311 should be passable with a stock rig. 520 might be passable when dry, 197 you'll need to get some body protection. You can pick up...

Great just what we need, Big Brother on the trail. Isn't there any place left to escape? Now there will be even more empty beer cans on the trail because people won't want "empty containers" in their Jeep. This really looks like the beginning of the end to me. I've never seen a bad situation...

Jeff, there's just too much to see out here in a week or two. You just need to sell your house, pack your Jeep, and move out to the West Coast. CA is always looking for new residents (to increase their tax base). We got Brat's out here too, and sorry but our beer and cheese is better than yours.
