    December RC Trail Ride

Is this run open to anyone looney enough to go?

    Frame Stiffner for Full Traction

I would try and try and plate it into the main unibody rail in a few spots as well. Looks good though.

What to do when a pitman arm puller fails...

Use a grinder with a cutoff wheel, and put a deep slice in the pitman arm, along the length of the splined section. Then use a hammer and chisel to hit the slice until it splits, voila, should come off. Go as deep as you can with the slice, just avoid damaging the spines.

    Project Olive Drab

So since you're from the philadelphia area, did you ever find a local supplier for the paint, or did you have to order it online? Nevermind, i just seen that the place was in levitown.

    1992 Cherokee Sport Questions

If you look at the spot welds inside of the panel, it looks liek there was some type of bodywork done to the roof. I think i can see where some bodyfiller is coming through , to the rear of that support(in the picture).

    Gas Tank Skid Plate

There is a difference between the steel tank and plastic tank found on the newer jeeps, i think the plastic tank is a bit lower. For 25 bucks, i'd give it a shot, you can always make a drop bracket for it to be a bit lower out of some stock from home depot.

Clayton 3 link and frame stiffeners (TNT)?

I just trimmed the unibody wraparound so the clayton bracket just welded to the inside of the unibody, the clayton arm mount and the bottom of the stiffeners. With roughly 12 linear inches of weld holding it on, I don't think it will be much of an issue.

    First jeep build

Just and FYI for everyone, when i did the OTK steering setup, I used WJ TRE's all around, as well as the goferit offroad inserts. Only differnet between this setup and a standard below knuckle, is that you need to use a RHD tie rod for the passenger knuckle to drag link. I used the Following-...

    Floor replacement project

Beleive it or not, some of the different brand floorpans have a slightly different thickness to them, as well as shaped slightly different. I went with the raybucks, after reading mostly positive reveiws, compares to some of the others. I ended up making a new crossmember by bending the metal in...

    Damaged synthetic winch line..

It almost looks like the line is crossed at some point between the jeeps, it may have been possible for the line to have come into contact with itself at this crossover point, and caused your problem.

    Master cylinder upgrade

If you didn't touch the proportioning valve, you should, when you get the system correct, you are going to need a reduction in pedal pressure to the rear, as they will lock up faster as the rear unloads, and the front takes more load under braking. I've seen some systems where no matter what you...

Do you run the 60/14b combo full locked all the time, or use selectable lockers?

    First jeep build

Yeah, I do that for my d60 in my work truck when doing seals and all, it works, but i wanna be able to get the preload right and all that jazz, plus its another chance to build another tool, who doesn't like homemade tools?:D

    First jeep build

Tire size works out to be 35x11.9, I kinda built the rig around the tires, got them in labor trade to do a headgaskets on a cadillac caterra. I'm still not sure who got the better deal on that one, that job was a nightmare.
