I have a Detroit in the D30 w/231 w/Terra 2Lo TC and 8.8 limited slip. And use it for a 55 mile round trip DD - no regrets. Absolutely silent - in both 2 and 4wd. Zero bad road manners. Off road I use 2/lo alot otherwise you have some front end plow in 4/lo turns. Eddie - 2k xj
