brand new clearwater head replaced stock cracked head about 6k miles ago, been running strong ever since
A/C runs cold enough, but not strong enough for those 90+ humid days

Found out after milling my stock head (should have replaced it in the beginning) that my #6 was cracked after running her for 3 weeks. Got a clearwater head and installed it only to take it offroad 12hrs later and it held up like a champ :) Enjoy
well after getting my head redone/milled complete 2 months ago, it appears the stock head cracked in the #6 cyl head. Time to get a brand new head. I have heard clearwater is the best.... anyone have options and opinions on this?
When my 01 Xj sits for a while 10+ hours or longer when you start it there is a very loud ticking coming from the engine. It doesn't happen all the time, but on a weekly occasion. When the engine warms up after about 3-5 minutes, its completely gone. The car drives fine and runs like normal...

ive done a ton of searching and alot of guys put the 6.5's in and fit fine. Not to mention crutchfield recommends these for front speakers for an 01 XJ too :lecture:
