Hi, Arotovegan thanks for keeping up with a year old thread. -- NO to the 2.5L VM; but I should be able to use the same clutch
Chrysler # 4864-835, Do you know the part # you used?
hi Ecomike I have 2 diesel converted xj's The 98 with the 2.2L Kubota/Carrier reefer engine in...
hey I am a little surprised to hear back. thanks. So the 2.5 liter diesel AX15 and the diesel NV3550 both use the same clutch pack.
AND! the diesel clutch is different than the gas clutch correct??????????
I am running a gasser ax15 clutch behind a 4 cyl Kubota diesel, and it gear...
ok good to know. thanks. I just got all back working again. I guess I have a bad cam sender. the fakey cam signal I made used a modified oem cam sender, and I guess it went bad??
There is another method to fool the PCM, this involves jumping the crank signal to the cam signal...
hi quick question is the ASD relay supposed to be energized or not energized for normal running?
I have a Kubota in the jeep now for over a year. after a bit of agony, at the beginning the electronics and instruments were all running perfectly for over a year. so I decided to clean...

Is the engine Trans in a 88-90 Renix vintage XJ...

have fun with it
I wanted to pick this thread back up. It seemed like a pretty good Aircon thread but did not have a ending.
my Jeep is a '98XJ SE 2wd, used to have a 6cyl auto, now it has a Kubota with a '94-AX15 with a '99clutch pedal set. I have a pretty bastarded electrical system with a...
tachometer is working along with all the rest of the gauges. if anyone has a similar situation, I needed both Crank position and cam position signals. jumping the cam to the crank did not work for me.
I ended up making a custom tone ring and modified the cam sensor it all fits on...
Thanks everyone . I found a transmission?? connection that was still installed but not connected. that got everything but the tachometer to work,
that is a big relief, I can get by without the OE tach, I have a " TinyTach " installed already. They work great.
But I...
I have spent the past 2 days going thru online FSM's and looking for info about the instruments. The manuals seem very complete, but they all refer to a " Powertrain Diagnostics procedures manual" has anyone ever seen or has access to this manual.
it seems there has got to be a...
