GO to a loading dock or somewhere where you can flex it, using a hi-lift is not going to get you the same results. Plus its very dangerous!!!!!!!! Find someones car or something.......
I just bought those from JKS and the stock bushing goes into the housing. You can weld JKS's into the stock location and then press stock bushing into it. I got mine for LA's though. Havent had the loose bushing problem.
I was just on a site last night (no, cant remember which one) that sold the diff rings by themselves (to make your own diff cover or use as protection of the lip) and they sold them already built diff covers. Anyone know who that is? Thanks p.s. they had D30 and 8.25 along with many others
the stock straps should do fine, they were designed by the manufacture werent they? If they held up under the jeep why not inside it? Just find a way to secure them to the floor and you should be good. Also you might make a bracket to hold the filler neck also (tied into the cage somehow). Just...

I welded mine and its held up for 5 years. Found some small cracks 2 years ago and welded it again and never have broken anything. And I do wheel hard. It is an 8.25 also. I wouldnt have welded that much but to each his own. Good luck
Got the pics thanks. I was trying to get the offset angle of the uppers to lowers. Figured out 35'. I have to have everything just right as I cant take my XJ to work with me (they would have a cow and I would get fired). My boss is on vac right now and I'm working this weekend so basically any...
Didnt think this one would get brought up again. Anyways I figured it out, heated up the arms (not the bushings) with a propane torch and they came right out. Used my vise and they went right back in, just needed to tap a little on the "open" ends of the arms to help them move with the bushing...
Yea, we really need to know what you intend to use it for. If I were to spend my money aint no way in He** I would waste it on an AMC 20. But figure out what you want, a DD or something for mud or in the rocks.
