    Skyjacker question

    i got word back from skyjacker themselves (suprisingly) anywhere from a month to three months settling time, and they should settle to 3" although theyre rated for 2.5 i like my 7000 series hydros, at least i dont pull the rings open every time i flex... bottom line anything built for off road...

    dunno how new this thread is i found it on search... i just put in 3" skyjacker superride leaf packs and hydro 7000 shocks... it stis closer to 4" maybe a little more, is that normal for these packs? how much will they sag (if any) i gotta say as well i really like my skyjacker suspension...

    yeah, v8 limited. it had the country package so instead of a regular v8 coil i got a 1" lift v8 coil so i ended up with 2" it doesnt hurt that the springs still had the factory tags on them

    Floor Pans- Anybody Try This?

    i had to replace the DS front floorpan, siliconed it down with a few rivets, and took out that G.D. felt pad under the carpet which was causing all the rust, stupid thing was soaked through... my floor is still going strong after six months with the new floor pan, no rust yet

    Header prep questions

    scuff it good, paint it and run an oxy-acetylene torch through each tube for a few minutes, itll bake the paint on (if its high heat enamel) that way it wont all flake off when you actually run it. although most header paint comes off eventually anyways.
