Well here's something interesting. It is apparently temperature related. It's now in the 60s-70s here and the jeep starts fine. It still takes a couple of seconds but that's to be expected.

I found a guy locally who is parting out a '97 Grand Cherokee for super cheap. I don't know what motor or trans is in it yet but I was wondering what parts would be transferable or considered upgrades for my '89 4.0l, 5sp, 2WD XJ? Thanks, Brandon
