The 05 WK, is with the ex's possession, and the other 05 WK is with the daughter. The 99 WJ is history. Eldest son has a 94 XJ...

What's your next 'Jeep' or what do you have now.

MY XJ is not DEAD! You can't kill it! 339,000 miles and still goin' strong. It's not pretty to look at, but it's OEM. Still has original paint and no rust. 2nd engine(replaced at 300,000). If you can get past the funny looks, from other drivers when I pass them, You can laugh all the way to the...

    Stolen Jeep

May the summabeeches who vandalized and stole parts off this jeep, get caught, prosecuted, convicted and get sentenced to rot in prison. But, since crimes like this are rarely solved, and the punks who commit them usually get away, may the Gods of Four Wheelers, rain fire and boulders down upon...

    Inexpensive .22?

Be careful, using a small caliber weapon against a docile, unsuspecting black bear is inviting trouble. Using a small caliber weapon against an angry, charging black bear is not advised, unless you like to be invited to the bear's house for dinner and you are the main course...better yet stay...

    Urban Exploring

I would advise staying away from the old Gates factory on Broadway. Awhile back a group of teenagers got in there at night and one was seriously hurt falling down an elevator shaft. The others in the group were prosecuted for trespassing. Denver PD responds regularly to calls from the security on...

    Best AT tires for $$$

I have had great success with Firestone Destination A/T's on and off road, on all my Jeeps. Although they are not a very aggressive tire, they seem to work well on snow & ice, and moderate off roading. Road noise is minimal, too. My daughter has Hankook Dynapro ATM's on her Jeep and loves them...

New(to me) 97 XJ in the Garage

Ooh! Touchy, touchy! I didn't know you guys would be so critical of my post. For clarification, the Jeep XJ owner in FC is "respected" for his work (I've seen his other XJ's). All Jeep owners are a little insane (JEEP- Just Empty Every Pocket) and some are disrespected, more than respected. But...

New(to me) 97 XJ in the Garage

I recently purchased a 97 XJ from a respected Jeep owner in Fort Collins. It has over 200,000 miles, but the previous owner took very good care of it. It's a red Cherokee, Country edition, bone stock except for an aftermarket steel rear bumper. I purchased this one as an addition to my Jeep...

    New bumper for 90 XJ

Thanks for the information. I may attempt attaching the bumper myself. I'm not a wrench turner at heart, but I can diagnose most instructions. I'll give it the old college try!

    New bumper for 90 XJ

I recently purchased a new chrome bumper for my 90 XJ. It is complete with two end caps, the two rubber bumper pads on the chrome assembly, the two mounting brackets on the rear.....and even a license plate frame! Here's the problem: I have no idea how to dismount the old one and re-mount the...
