thanks i guess this never had a v6 vin proves it. just had a computer question.

the blocks will all swap its the computer mainly that bugs me.. AMC to Chrysler. yes it is a straight 6 4.0 first try late 1985. original block cracked. thanks

I have a 86 AMC wagoneer ( little xj not the full size ) the original 4.0is now gone and i have a 96 grand cherokee 4.0 to put in. my question.... will i have to swap computers or will they interchange. if so what all do i need to swap.... Dumb i know but could use the knowledge. thanks

tried a 96 motor, also a 4.0 but it dogged down like my 456 gears were all the sudden 256. never really done a motor swap (to a bigger one) in the xj's. I guess i'm looking for opinions or advise. sick of missing events

In search of a new or hopefully original 4.0 for a 86 wagoneer (xj).nobody in s. utah seems to have anything that old. My wifes truck and doesn't want to go v-8. any comments would help thanks

The BFG MUD is a awesome tire on and off road. I too have run most but stick with BFG's or TSL's ( they are all most unstopable but dont last long).

Forgot to tell ya the procomp lift I have came w/ drop brackets about 3-4" worth. so I dont know if that will help ya... Been wondering if long arms have the same problems???

The ball joints are fine, new tie rod ends, also doesnt do it all the time.
