Thanks so much for your time and effort in both the swap and the writeup. It's exactly what I've been searching for. I found the article in JP magazine, but just like you I was still puzzled on exactly what I was supposed to be doing with the wires in their pinout.

I agree. Make a jumper wire out of a short piece of wire and 2 spades and attach the wire together. If it runs after that, you know the ballast resistor is your problem. After that, you can leave the jumper there, or just clip the ends off and couple the two wires together. The ballast...

Thanks for the reply. That's very helpful. As far as the check valve, I know there's only one... just don't know exactly where it is in relation to the pump. I would just do what a lot of others have done and get the inline bimmer check valve, but being as I have low fuel pressure as well...
