well my neighbor has a 3" lift I can get basicly for free, I planned on basicly going all through it anyways.I know I basicly need a ford front axle which I can get a hipinion 44 for cheapwill a 14BFF work in the rear of an XJ?

found out it has 3.55's, no lift, and lincoln locked rear/open front.

hes 300 miles away and i cant make it there by sunday, hes leaving on manday for 3 weeks. so i have to wait for him to get back. theres no tabs but he says he will go half in with me on the tabs so i can drive it back.

alot of people in the diesel world have quit using K&N systems. if you get to much oil on the filter it can get sucked into the turbo and really mess things up. im pretty sure it will do the same thing with carb or injection.

well im not getting that cherokee. i have to drive it back and he says the tires are basicly rotted, the window motor quit working, the tags are expired. im not looking for anything perfect but i want it to be mechanicaly sound. hell if i wanted a project my neighbor has an old one with no motor...

so what all would i need to swap in a AX15? i know the tranny/case, probably cross member, new clutch, but what else?

thanks, yah im aware to check in the door way for wrinkled sheet metal. i bought my dad a cj5 last year and there is some pretty bad spots in the door ways where they had jumped it.
