Ok your up travel is where the issue is. Drop will be great in some cases... Short arms or long arms?

How do you use your Jeep? What size of tires and have you trimmed your fenders?

What year is the jeep?

I am happy with the Borla on the XJ. The only problem I had was at full flex I would hit my front drive line/yoke. Now that was with 4 1/2 of lift. Now there is no issues at 7" Not to sure about the Banks shorty on the ZJ, still need to take out the cat.

Check the track bar bracket. Mine just started making noise and this was the fix. Why it came loose I'm not sure yet.

Got every thing priced up and I am looking at around $2k to go the 700R4 route.... So I am going with your idea with the shifter and computer. Thanks for the advice everyone!!

Sorry forgot to mention that I have a 5 speed and would like to go to an auto..

I have been searching for any info. on this matter. I like the idea of the lower 1st gear and still having overdrive. Any help would be great, thanks. Here's a little about the jeep. 92 XJ 44/9 combo with 4.56's About 7"s of lift and 35's

I ran 4.10 w/33's 5 speed for 2 years. I always thought it was good until I wanted 35's. I bought the 4.56's and ran them til I got the 35's. WOW!! Loved it!!! Now that I have the 4.56's and 35's I wished I went 4.88's.... HA HA HA! Live and learn Hope this helps. Good luck!
