Should be a direct swap, you can use up to 90 for the swap but in 91 Jeep introduced the high output and with that came some changes. Let us know how it goes

If you want a guaranteed no leak ever cap for the pressure bottle, go to the local Volvo dealer and buy a cap for a Volvo 240 turbo, 740 turbo or a 940 turbo. Volvo uses a pressurized bottle that is similar to the Jeeps bottle. I have had my cap on there for a few years and it has not leaked...

Why not just remove the bulb??? Am I missing something here??

First thing that comes to mind is swapping out the flex plate for a fly wheel. There is no hole on the flex plate for an automatic. Other than that I would think that it would be a pretty simple installation. I maybe wrong, if I am I'm sure someone here will give you the correct info.
