so my 97 xj,stock 4.0,,,at idle the oil pressure is great,,right at 13-18,,,around 2300 rpms im at 43,,normal driving its fine,,,if i stomp on the gas moderately to heavy,,pressure drops to 18ish then slowly mves upward until i back of then it acts normal,,,,so,,whatcha think

anyone know of any good pick a parts near myrtle beach,,,?

im pretty paranoid,,,i fill the filter,,,then once oil change is done,,,i pull the center plug wire from the distributor and crank it for a bit,,,reattach wire and start it,,,i figure its turning over slow/virtually no rpms and pistons arent being slammed down while the rest of the filter fills...

my cherokee doesnt want to start on initial start-up,,,once its warmed up,,it starts fine,,,,,you have to pump the gas like a carb equipped vehicle while its cranking and it'll start,,,its a 97,,,,,what should i check

i rechecked the click,,,,it "seems" to be coming from the ends of the axle shafts (not towards the center of the diff,,) but....there is no play in the axles(by pulling up/down/left/right on it) and i hear nothing on turns,,i took it for a spin around the neighborhood and turned it off and...

can u guys tell me how to check and what to look for ref. clearances w the ring and pinion,,(i know what all the parts are/look like,,,just dont know where/how to measure) it makes the noise even with the drums off so nothing seem to be contacting the brakes,, thanks for the help
