So I recently replaced the water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses, etc, on my 96. Now I started it up and it ran fine, after about a day or so it started to squel horrible when the heat was on. I retentioned to belt and the squel went away. Now it only squels when I turn on the A/C. Anyone...

For those of you not using an OEM thermostat, are you drilling your holes at 12 and 6. Not sure on the size though. Or is it better to just get the OEM. Them only trouble is I need to get this thing up and running and my stealership cant get me the thermostat for 3-5 days.

Alright so im about to replace the radiator, thermostat, water pump, hoses, etc. While Ive got everything apart what would be the easiest way to drain/flush the block. Its a 96 and no lie the previous owner never changed the coolant. The coolant is literally black/brown

Im getting a new set of tires and im going with a 235/75/r15. I figured as long as im getting tires i might as well get a set of black steelies. Would I be better off with a 15x7 or a 15x8. This is on a stock 96.
